The part of me that belongs to the sea

A part of me
belongs to the sea,
the salt soaked air,
the crashing waves,
the grains of sand.

A part of me
belongs to the sea,
the ocean breezes,
the palm tree fronds,
the flowers' strong fragrances,
the colors of the water
blue, gray & green.

A part of me
belongs to the sea,

the sun's rays
bouncing and reflecting
off the crashing,
pounding surf.

A part of me
belongs at the sea
as the tides
pull my worries
away with the sand
and washes my soul clean.

A part of me
belongs at this sea.
She was reborn in the
land of aloha.
The sand and sea scrubbed
and soften my soul,
exposing and leaving me new.

The part of me that
belongs to the sea
breathes in and
releases her cares.
This sea
wild and reckless
hold the key.

 The part of me that
belongs to the sea
was rescued and saved
by the King.
His beautiful creation
gives me rest
and his Word & promise
saves my soul.

The part of me that
belongs to the sea
longs to return
one day.
Scatter my ashes
along the sand,
wash me away
and take me home.

The part of me that
belongs to the sea
she is wild, reckless, free.
